On June 23, 1951, with no further progress in sight for communist forces, the Soviet Union, which backed North Korea, called for armistice talks. forces and later by North Korean and Chinese forces who crossed into Korea in the fall of 1950.īy the late spring of 1951, the battle lines had stabilized around the area of the 38th Parallel, which had previously divided the two Koreas prior to the invasion. So best advice I can give is to ignore what the indicator is telling you and listen to what your common sense is telling you that your lure is doing. The fighting over the next few months or so was fluid, with large swaths of the Korean peninsula being overrun first by North Korean forces, then by U.N. However, being a lifelong angler means I fully understand what my lure is doing at all times and depths ( regardless of type ), whereas non anglers who just play the game for fun may depend on that indicator. I simply ignore the indicator and continued fishing as normal, with no change to my catch rates. Spoons also appear to stay midwater and then suddenly dive to the deck halfway through a retrieve. Crankbaits in particular seem to behave very strangely on the indicator with anything over a 6 foot crank apparently diving to the deck and staying there. Hey fella, what I find personally is that the lure indicator doesn't reflect what the lure is actually doing, especially on deeper venues like Alberta and Mich. I broke down and got the Sport Heavy Casting package but it only casts 100 feet. Should the lure go all the way down to the bottom? Stop and go and twitch all look very strange. I thought I had improved my lure retrieves but Alberta is confusing me.
